Multe dintre statuetele acordate anul acesta vor stârni probabil controverse, Birdman este un film pe care fie îl iubeşti, fie îl consideri un fel de balon frumos colorat care a fost umflat până peste poate  înşfăcând astfel două dintre cele mai râvite premii (mai păstrăm un pic suspansul şi nu spunem care). Cert este că Boyhood, câştigătorul premiului BAFTA pentru regie şi cel mai bun film, care a fost promovat drept o realizare cinematografică unică a avut o recoltă de omuleţi auriţi sub aşteptări.

Totuşi, dincolo de discuţiile interminabile iscate în fiecare an în jurul premiilor pentru regie, cel mai bun film, anul acesta există şi un premiu care nu poate isca decât comentarii de tipul: în sfârşit, a cincea oară cu noroc. Aţi ghicit probabil că este vorba despre mult aşteptatul Oscar primit de Julianne Moore pentru rolul ei din Still Alice,  povestea unei femei care descoperă că în ciuda vârstei sale nu tocmai înaintate suferă de Altzheimer. De altfel, în cazul premiilor pentru interpretare Academia Americană şi cea britanică au fost  în totalitate de acord.

Aşadar, cu dezamăgiri şi surprize, cele mai importante premii ale industriei cinematografice au fost decernate, iar nouă nu ne rămâne decât să ne bucurăm sau să ne indignăm, după caz, şi să aşteptăm ca timpul să decidă care a fost cel mai bun film dintre cele nominalizate în 2015.
